Blessed Michael McGivney Intercedes in Miraculous Healing
0:00
When Daniel and Michelle Schachle learned that their unborn son had Down syndrome, they considered their special child a special blessing. When further tests revealed that their son also had fetal hydrops, a serious, always fatal condition, the Schachle family was heartbroken and prepared themselves for the worst. Despite the fact that medical professionals gave their unborn son no chance of survival, the Schlaches did not lose hope. They made a pilgrimage to Fatima and prayed for the intercession of Blessed Michael McGivney. When they returned home, an ultrasound showed no signs of fetal hydrops–only a healthy baby boy with Down syndrome. In May 2020, Pope Francis approved Michael McGivney Schachle’s healing as a miracle attributed to the intercession of then-Venerable Michael McGivney. The beatification of Blessed Michael McGivney took place on October 31, 2020. -- Become a Knight today: http://kofc.org/join Subscribe now to keep up with the Knights! http://bit.ly/SubscribeKnightsOfColumbus Stay connected on social media: https://www.facebook.com/KnightsofColumbus https://twitter.com/kofc https://www.instagram.com/kofc_official Visit us at: http://www.kofc.org
