The Knights of Columbus in Arizona invited four Special Olympic athletes to the April 23, 2012 Arizona Diamondbacks vs Philadelphia Phillies baseball game. The athletes had a chance to step on the field during batting practice and meet some of their favorite players. They were then treated to a luxury suite to take in the game. This is all part of the commitment of the Knights of Columbus to promoting the dignity of individuals with disabilities and continuing our long standing support of the Special Olympics.
