Ukrainian Knights Aid Caritas following Tragedy

Since the early days of the war in Ukraine, the Knights of Columbus have partnered with Caritas-Spes, a charitable mission of the Catholic Church operating in the country. Following the destruction of a Caritas-Spes warehouse in Lviv in September 2023 and the loss of over 600,000 pounds of aid, the Knights of Columbus stepped up. They provided much needed supplies to Caritas so they could continue their mission to help the most vulnerable affected by the war. Canadian, Polish, and Ukrainian Knights Deliver Coats to Kids

Brother Knights from Council 7432 in Calgary, Alberta, felt inspired to extend the reach of their local Coats for Kids program and help children in Ukraine who need a winter jacket. Following successful parish fundraisers, the Alberta Knights, with the help of the Supreme Council, sent the funds to Polish Knights, who purchased and delivered coats to Knights in Ukraine. Ukrainian Knights then distributed them to the children of fallen soldiers in Lviv.
