In response, the Supreme Council provided gift cards and $50,000 in aid to remote communities in Northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Knights in Newtown, CT, worked alongside Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national organization that aims to end child bedlessness by building beds for children in need. Brother Knights built and delivered beds on the eve of the Feast of Blessed Michael McGivney to children in the community who now have a bed to sleep on in their homes.
