Richard Conlin wanted to be a professional golfer, and he excelled, playing on Team Canada and obtaining a sports scholarship. To him, golf was his God. One day, Richard’s mom asked him to go to confession as a gift for her birthday, which he obliged. The experience was life-changing as he found joy and peace. Instead of golf, he wanted to give others that same experience. So he entered seminary, and was ordained as a priest on Dec. 11, 2020 during the Year of St. Joseph. Since then, he has modeled his vocation after St. Joseph, striving to be a spiritual father to those he serves.
