Faith was in college, working as a waitress, engaged, and pregnant. Her fiancé pressured her to abort her unborn child, something she could not bring herself to do. At the same time, Joe and Jane Dalton moved to her town and opened a pregnancy resource center. As a Knight of Columbus, Joe worked with his brother Knights to get the project off the ground. It wasn’t long before Faith came across the center and was soon given the support she needed in her pregnancy. Thanks to the Daltons and the Knights, Faith safely gave birth to her baby boy.

Following a mustard gas attack, Monsignor returned to the Diocese of Brooklyn and received permission to begin a ministry to African American Catholics. Despite attacks against himself and his work by the Ku Klux Klan, Monsignor Quinn’s work would culminate in creating one of the largest childcare services in the State of New York. Father Gerald Mendoza is a priest of the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan in Northern Alberta and a Knights of Columbus. The wildfires raging across Canada have heavily affected the communities he serves in an isolated part of the country. In response to the disaster and destruction, Father Mendoza volunteered to battle the blaze to help keep his community safe.
