Pennsylvania Knights Build Observatory at VA Hospital

After surveying residents and staff about how they could help, the Knights offered to fundraise and build an observatory at the hospital. The newly built facility is the first of its kind nationwide and has provided a tremendous outlet for veterans, allowing them to explore the heavens. For the last seven years, Knights from Council 16127 in Ogden, Utah, have been working with a local US Air Force Base to deliver surplus food from the base’s commissary to a local pantry. This food helps feed base families struggling to put meals on the table at home. In 2022, they distributed 17,000 pounds of food to the community.
